Step 3 – You will be asked to create your secure code.

How does Maestro work?
In Serbia and Europe, you can use your Maestro card to shop online. The only thing you need is your unique SecureCode™, which enables you to pay online as safely as with your PIN in a shop.
How do I start?
If your card has been issued by one of the participating banks*, contact your bank to confirm that you can pay online with your Maestro card. As soon as your card is activated, your bank will send you an authentication device, if you have not already received it. This might be a Personal Card Reader or Digipass and you will need it every time you make a purchase online. With these simple devices to hand –your card and your authentication device – you are ready to shop online!
What is SecureCode™ and how does it work?
SecureCode™ is the Maestro authentication system which enables you to shop online safely and securely. Online shopping with Maestro is consequently just as safe as in the shop itself.
Depending on which bank you are with, you will have received a Personal Card Reader or Digipass. You will need this every time you want to buy something online. Your Personal Card Reader or Digipass generates a unique code for the transaction you make in order to check your identity, grant permission for the payment and help protect you against fraud.
